this may be a little after the fact. i bought mine from speedway in nebraska. brand new rallye wheels for $50 bucks each. you cant buy used ones for that. they look great and i bought 15s but maybe should have gone to 16s as tires are getting harder to find.

thx all for your feedback, i guess ill remove and cut a coil and replace rears so it at least sits level. the springs are seated correctly and ive driven probably 100 miles so thats probably the only way ill get close to the look i want. corvairforum comes through again, great resource, tom Before ...

congratulations.....i looked all over for a 4dr 4spd 140 and just couldnt find one. bought a 65 monza 4dr 140 pg with 50k miles and am quite happy but still would have liked 4spd! have fun! tom

hello, i replaced my front coils with heavy duty springs from clarks. everything indicated it lower the car at least 1". the springs were at least and inch and a half shorter than the originals. the car sits approximately the same height it did before replacement. am i missing something? its been ...

well im having the same problem and have bled every wheel seriously about 10 times. its getting better but still have to pump the pedal several times before it feels like it should. i extended the rod and now i wonder if i should have left it where it was or maybe even shortened it. any suggestions ...

Well, what exactly is the power pack? I've never heard of it although that may be because I'm pretty new to Corvairs. as far as having more money in your car than is worth I would say if you like it and drive it then just enjoy it.

well gang, turning to the experts again. im planning to replace all brake lines in my 65 monza. do i have to pull the gas tank or is it all accessible through the interior under the dash and the panel under the car? i really dont want to have to pull the tank if i dont have to. thx in advance for ...

thx guys, i knew i could count on you. i get it now. didnt realize pushrod tube comes out through head. it all makes sense. thx again for the help. my car is a 65 fourdoor with 48k original miles. runs great but needs oil leaks fixed. appreciate the help. tom

pushrod removal tool
i bought a pushrod removal tool from clarks but it has no instructions of any kind and just looking at i have no clue how to use the thing. i guess i could call clarks but im guessing several of you can enlighten me. thx for the help

just bought a 46k original 4dr with this color and white interior, nice to see another one with this combo. love that two tone steering wheel. mine had a crappy old leather wrap on it and was i pleasantly surprised when i yanked it off. looking forward to seeing more of yours, keep up the good work!
