- Option A: Clark's repro (if they reply to my query about shipping it)
Option B: Find a donor car
Option C: Fab it up myself (I have the tools, materials, and skills)

Re: My 1st Vair - 1965 Corsa 140-4 hardtop
Got the windows trim removed! Got the Window out... in one piece even.
I "thought" I had seen a lot of sand in the vents... After removing the wiper arms and vent panel, NOW I know where it was coming from.
After using a shop vac and removing 3 gallons of sand....
Now I have to decide how to fix the lower panel.

From what I understand the repair panel is better than nothing. If you can fab it out of the correct gauge metal, then go for it.

Re: My 1st Vair - 1965 Corsa 140-4 hardtop
IMHO, i would fab it out myself. Judging by your work thus far and your abillities...the Clark's repro is a thinner guage metal, and good luck finding a donor that is in good shape.
I am facing this same issue with my "turbo'd" Monza project. I am gonna bite the bullet and make my own. I trust my skills and tenacity as well.

We're close enough. ... I have a B2 Beverly Shear and a 36" stomp shear if it would help.

Other than the remains of the back seat, this is all it came with back here.
My research on the back panels shows more about people's homegrown solutions rather than stock.

First pic shows crossbar between brackets (L/R) that help support seatback in upright position.
Second pic is finish cardboard installed and rear/center speaker as well.
Lots of folks put "dynamat" or other insulation and sound dampening materials under the cardboard. Stock was a heavy sheet of "hair type" insulation.

Also...on top of cardboard, on each side, there is a rubber bumper that bumps against seat back on upright position. You can see in in pic one.

Look on the bright side...you have speaker bracket in rear...and it looks like there is speaker wire already run. Lol Seriously tho, not too shabby. Should be able to find one of those...or make one pretty easy. Looks like the pass side rear window surround is missing too. Unless you removed it.

missed that too, thanks.
Making one should be pretty easy. I will measure the bracket tonight.

Re: My 1st Vair - 1965 Corsa 140-4 hardtop
That lower windshield panel is a bear to fab. The radius has to be dead on correct to properly re-install the glass AND the stainless trim, not to mention the fresh air grille. .
I have installed a couple of the Clarks replacement steel panels. The fit is fine and can be positioned correctly without much of an issue.
The gauge of the steel is also vary acceptable.
Bottom line..... I would recommend that replacement panel, from the experience I have had with them.

Dave - I have a fair bit of extra 18g steel sheet laying around. I am going to fab up a pattern in card stock tonight. If the final shape looks doable, I may play around trying it while saving up for the pre-fab one. Thanks.

Got the Instrument Cluster rebuild completed this weekend.
Found a great source for the colored filters for the turn and high beam indicator.
I got the 3M tail light repair product - It means yellow for turn and red for high beam, but it is thick, and easily cut with a pair of scissors. It is even has sticky on one side, so it attaches easily to the end of the 3/4" copper tubing that I used to replace the "micro-tp rolls" (as my daughter calls them)

Before Stripped and repainted the black background and the grey around the "bolts" Then got a wild hair and decided to make them "color matching" for the blue I am painting the car.
