Re: Front window regulator
Thanks to all that replied. I didn't have a chance to work on it until the other day. With the help of my son pulling up on the glass and me wiggling the tracks the glass came right out off the he track. I hope I can mount it back on later. Anyway I was able to get the regulator out and boy was it ...

Front window regulator
I have a 65 convertible monza. The front driver window is about 3 inches up and the regulator locked up solid. In the body service manual it states to raise the window almost to the top in order to remove it to take the regulator out but, it won't budge any higher. Any and all suggestions would be ...

Re: INSTALLING CONVERTIBLE TOP 65 MONZA
Thanks to all! This is the best CorvairForum I have been in. I will certainly do my homework not only on how to install it but, where I can have it done by a top shop. Again thanks to all my Corvair friends. CORVAIRS RULE!

INSTALLING CONVERTIBLE TOP 65 MONZA
I will be replacing the convertible top on my 65 Monza when the winter is gone and since I have never done this I would like some advice and/or instructions on the installation. My old top has a zippered window also, I saw that Clark's has a vinyl top and a leather top. Is one easier to handle with ...

Transmission keeps leaking
Hello everyone. I have an 65 Monza and have replaced the power glide transmission pan with a good Clark's finned one. I have replaced the pan gasket as well as the o-ring seal where cable enters transmission and the modulator and gasket. But the leak still continues. Could it be the cable? How would ...

Steering Gearbox Lube
Hello everyone! I am going to rebuild the steering gearbox on my 65 Monza and am wondering if someone out there can tell me what type of gear lube to use. I think I read some where that GM use to have a special type gear lube that was used back in the day for the gearboxes. Any and all suggestions ...

Re: Replacing Carpet
I replaced the carpet in my 65 Monza that I had purchased from Clark's. Carpet was fine but I wish I would have spent the extra bucks and gone with the molded. It will save you a lot of time and some frustration. It is true the corvair floor does not have any big valleys or hills but the small ones ...
