...The GM Heritage Center publishes extensive specification documents on-line for all Corvair model years. These have lots of useful and interesting information. The information includes paint, trim code and option data.

Looked at the link for the 1965 Monza. I am impressed with all the technical information and engineering drawings on that site. One thing I was looking for was a sketch of the rear end powertrain showing the axle shafts and geometry.

You may find some of the drawings in the attached 1965 Corvair Assembly Manual - REAR SUSPENSION section of the assembly manual useful. I haven't seen any detailed GM engineering drawings.

Having the proper reference materials – including the factory shop manual – is important. You can download all of these references at no cost onto your computer in Adobe Reader format from the links below. You can then read through the procedures and print the appropriate pages that you will need to refer to as you go through the procedure on your Corvair. Of course, you can also purchase hard copies of the shop manual from Clark's Corvair Parts or other sources. I hope you will find some useful references at these websites to add to your personal technical library.
