Nice, you even put the hole in the truck so you can use it as a ice cooler once she's done.

Engine cleaned up and almost ready to re fit. Hi-vol oil pump to fit, and new valve covers and trans pan on shopping list

Did you paint the engine? If so, what with?
Re: pensylvania bondo bucket
I used a very high temp paint by simonize, supposed to be for manifolds etc, It needs heat curing and is easily rubbed off if not cured. As far as I know its available in black silver and red
Re: pensylvania bondo bucket
Any one out there have a spare 1966 110 carb they dont need, and can send to uk? I only really need a good bottom half , pref with good spindle. Mine got damaged trying to remove the screws holding the venturi cluster. Clarks are out of stock

Re: pensylvania bondo bucket
I might know a couple of people with spares, I'll send them a message and see if they have anything.
Actually, you could try this guy, he said he had a pair with linkage, but obviously I expect he will want to sell them as one lot.

You know, this thing is starting to look like it might actually run!
Have you briefed it about running on the wrong side of the road?
