Hello Dave
They’re charging me a $100 to clean it. It was really clean. Just a small amount of rush on the top of the tank. It’d probably another $80 if I wanted it coated but said that he didn’t think it was necessary

Head light switch
Just stuck my ugly mug under my dash. There’s this connector that I believe goes to my headlight switch, but it doesn’t look like I can get my big hands up to the switch to plug it back in. What am I going to do? Do I need to pull off the basil? If so how do I get the darn knobs off the shafts of the ...

Re: Gas tank removal, Dave motto head.
Ok, I pulled the tank. I didn’t take off the stabilizer bar. I just unbolted it and Swung it down. That seemed to work fine taking the tank out. Had it cleansed at a Radiator shop waiting for a new sending unit and then I’ll reinstall it. Hope it goes in smooth. Oh, and Dave in your video on the tan ...

Thanks Terrible
I don’t have the carbs bolted down so I’ll pop them out and remove the seals.

Re: Cleaning gas tank
I have a friend that had told me that you put nuts and bolts in the tank, tie it to a cement mixer and let the mixer do the cleaning. Now how can I check if the tanks even that bad in the first place?

As I think I’ve the roger patient linkage will correct the issue with the lockout system. My car is a 65 corsa 140 will I have to modify anything on it when I installed it?
