On my 66 Corsa, the fuel gauge was working fine until I had to remove the cluster recently, now the needle goes past full to the 3 'o clock position when the ignition is on. I have a newer sending unit, and the chassis ground at the tank is good and clean. I I have connected a jumper wire to the ...

Re: Engine Stumble LM 110 HP - when hot
Jerry - here in is my problem - when cold my throttle level is not going to the second step on the lever, so I have no fast idle. Engine Stumble LM 110 HP - when hot
Recently my LM 110 HP engine when hot, has developed an annoying stumble the majority of the time when applying more throttle. It seems this happen after it's been driven a while, parked and sat for at least a hour or longer. When it's cold no issues. My question is what would most likely be causing ...

Manual trans Linkage Adjustment
Hi - looking for direction on how best to adjust the shift linage on my "66 LM 4 speed coupe. The issue stems from when shifting into 4th gear pops out ( or won't go into 4th) immediately most of the time. This has just started after a recent engine swap where we left the trans/diff in the car. Yes ...

Cibie Headlights
Any issue with using Cibie (H4) headlights on my 66 Monza?
For example, would these cause any over heating of wires/connectors, or possibly other stir up any electrical gemlins by using these?

Steering Wheel - Will not come off
My question is how much effort is need to remove the steering wheel. I would think not much but my 66 Coupe wheel seems to be welded on, or I'm doing some thing terribly wrong. Yes, I'm using a proper wheel puller, and shot some WD-40 around the threads, but even using a breaker bar, the bolts are ...

High Idle Cold Engine = How to set
I don't have a fast idle on my cold 66 110HP Manual engine. The carbs were recently removed to facilitate an engine swap. On back the "new" engine it and idles great when warm, but I have no High Idle when cold. My question is, if the linkage is properly adjusted per the shop manual, shouldn't I be ...

Cylinder Head Temp Gauge - 66 Corsa
My newly installed Corsa dash in my 66 Monza cly. head temp gauge is not working. The thermister checked out using OHM meter prior to install. Below is a response on this same subject from years back on a EM car. Are the readings (specs) the same for a LM car. It looks like I need to check the ...

Re: Corsa Tach Not working
Ok so Brad, you're saying the connector (wire) from the coil should be in the last position on the Corsa's IP cluster's harness wire connector, and NOT in the second to the last position ( on the connector) that exist to a pink wire going to the temp gauge per my 1966 Corsa IP diagram. You're saying ...

Corsa Tach Not working
Got a Corsa IP cluster in my 66 Monza, but the tach is not working. I have the power from the coil going to the proper pin location on the dash harness wiring connector, and it is getting power. When I shut off the engine the tach's needle moves a bit, but there no reading when engine is running ...
