I was told that I need a master cylinder for a manual brake system with a 1.125 bore. I just don't know which one to get.

Master Cylinder for Disc Brakes
I just installed a disc brake kit for all four wheels. However, the master cylinder won't do. It goes almost all the way to the floor. I was told this is because calipers have more displacement than wheel cylinders. This makes sense. So which master cylinder should I get? Any help is appreciated.

Rear Disc Brake Help
I am installing disc brakes all around on my '66. I have a rear disc brake conversion kit from Corvair Underground. However, they do not sell the kit anymore and they can't tell me how to fix my problem. Here it is. The forward e-brake bracket that sets on top of the caliper hits the coil. Even ...

Re: 1965-1969 Rear Control Arm Strut Rods
I attached the rear strut rod to the trailing arm and then jacked up the trailing arm until the inboard end of the strut rod slipped right into the bracket on the diff.

Re: How To Do Wheel Alignment
I'm not sure that is a "How to" book or is it. I heard it was more theoretical and discussed tood but not a step-by-step how to.

More Disc Brake Install Problems. Please Help!
I inherited the Corvair Underground conversion kit from drum to disc brakes. However, I did not inherit any instructions so you guys on the Corvair Forum have been a real help. Here's my next problem. I installed calipers from a '79-'82 Riviera FWD just like Corvair Underground suggested. However ...

Difference size wheels?
I'm getting ready to purchase some new rims for my LM. I'm thinking 15" in the front and 16" in the back. Is there anything I should be aware of before I do this?

Re: Rear Disk Conversion from Corvair Underground?
Kevin - You said that I could get a banjo fitting with female threads to fit a standard metal brake line. Where can I get them? I've been to several places and I can't find any such thing. I'm going to guess that you don't have any pics of this bolt, but if you do, that would help immensely.

Re: Rear Disk Conversion from Corvair Underground?
I'm not sure that I understand your comment "I use a metal line that screws into a banjo fitting on the caliper and the other end goes to a flexible hose." Can you just purchase a bango fitting without a hose? When I've gotten banjo bolts, they've always been purchased with a hose attached. Also ...

Rear Disk Conversion from Corvair Underground?
I just installed a rear disk conversion kit from Corvair Underground. They were purchased years ago but I am just now getting to install the them. The rear rotors and calipers come from an 82-97 4WD S10. I also believe 79-82 Riviera or DeVille FWD calipers work. But here is the question, how are the ...

Max Tire Size on 15" Rims?
I want to get a set of tires for my LM and want to make sure that they don't rub. I have installed disc brakes so I want to go to 15 inch rims. I've heard that the max size that I can get for a 15" without having a rubbing problem is a 205/60R15. Is this a truism? If I go to a 195 width, what is the ...
