All of the bolts are loose and both top and bottom arm can move/rotate I will take another look at it over the weekend.... Must be something obvious. I think the springs are sitting properly?

Front suspension
I'm in the process of restoring a 1965 (LM) corvair I stripped all of the front end out and cut the springs down by 1 coil. Used all new bushings etc and put it back together... Still need to get new shocks and fit them. When I lowered the passenger side down it does compress.... The top a arm is ...

Hey matt, i moved from uk to canada and every time i try to buy a part for my car we go though the same thing...... "can i get some disks and pads?" " what?" Gave it a wirl on the bonnet... Not really sure if worked or not, whole thing went orange/rusty coloured after bout 20 mins, wiped off with clean water and steel wool and seemed ok, couple of patchs still little rusty brown colour but when went at then with wool they didnt come off??? Think it ...

Well thats going to be a new set of fuzzies then!!!
Spent ages fiddling to get them out...in the end brute force and ignorance won! And the fuzzie got all bent up comeing out! Dunno how u get them out without ruining them?? Hope they are cheep to replace??

So just insert small screw driver from metal panel side and lever then out? Do you get screw driver behind each tab and lever till it pops out? Sorry! Just fiddled for ages and didnt get anywhere!!!

Window fuzzy seals
This must have been asked and answered at some time???? Lots of searching later no answer.....
How do i remove the fuzzy door window seals? They have metal clips but cant work out how to get them off....dont wanna break anything!!!

Has anyone seen the diyautoSchool videos on you tube? I particular where he treats rust with vinegar water?
Has any one tried this? Does it work? In the vid it shows the rust going black after and he says its now treated??? Does this stop it coming back long term or just a cover up??

If you put the u-seal tape down how the hell do you ever get it off if need to do any repairs in future?? Looks like it would be a mare to remove.... Anyone fitted it and pulled it up before?

Sorry im british and new to auto boxes.... I ment it only has drive, reverse and neutral.....what is that called? With regards to the brass 'brazing' by the lower front windscreen, it has about 3areas on the car where this has been done and has mainly been used like a lead filler, if that makes ...

I was thinking i would try spraying newer primer over the top and you have confirmed my thoughts....i have sanded some of the primer off and didnt find any rust.... The funky green is primer that he said he used as that area is aluminium? I havent checked to see what the metal is...is this area ...

just thought i would put a few pics of my new car on here and have one quick question for the body work people...... the car is already partially restored and has been painted in acrylic primer....can i carry on the restoration using modern primer or will it create problems??? the car is a 65 500 ...
