Re: What Vehicle Did You Get Your First Traffic ticket In?
Got my first ticket in a rented Jeep Wrangler while road-tripping through Argentina. I was exploring Patagonia with a friend, on our way to a day tour we’d booked with https://gowithguide.com/argentina but we were running late. Felt like we were in the clear on this empty stretch of road. Until the t ...

Re: '65 140 with Powerglide - Cam Options
Isky 280 cam and 3.1L kit should work well with your Powerglide. Definitely upgrade to the torque converter from Clark's for better performance. Fuel injection will help you get the most out of it.

Re: Help needed with Judson Supercharger
Could be due to the increased load from the supercharger, especially since you’re having issues when shifting into gear. You might want to check your idle mixture and fuel delivery your carb might need tuning to handle the extra air from the supercharger. Also double check the torque converter on t ...

Re: Loss of power
I'd also look at fuel delivery or maybe even a vacuum leak. Spraying carb cleaner like you mentioned should help check for leaks, but I'd also double-check fuel pressure and make sure the carbs are getting enough fuel under load. If compression checks out, it might be worth inspecting the fuel pump ...

Re: oil pressure
Could be an issue with the oil pump maybe it's worn or the relief valve is sticking. Double-check the clearances, especially with the new bearings. Thiker oil might help boost pressure at idle too.

Re: One headlight dim
It could be a grounding issue on the driver’s side headlight. Even if the wires look clean, a bad ground can cause dim lights. Check the ground connection specifically on that side—make sure it's solid and not corroded. If that’s fine, testing the voltage tomorrow should help pinpoint the issue.
