I don't post much, but I lurk here and at corvair center. "unsafe" is correct. That forum is loaded with political nonsense, most of which is started by the same few angry people each time. Too bad. Glad it is contained here.

I thought the definition of politics was nonsense...shrug.

The one thing corvaircenter has due to its age is many, many years of recognized Corvair experts sharing their tech knowledge. That expert knowledge base is building here too of course.

I sure hope Royce have that site backed up carefully to prevent a catastrophic loss of info. I always cringe when it is down, wondering if all may be lost. That happened on another automotive site that I frequent (realoldspower). So much valuable data was lost it makes a grown man want to cry.

A lot of politicky nonsense over there anyway! At least here it is contained (for the most part) to the Politics section. Thank God for that...

I'm not angry...Never mind! If it never comes back my Corvair will still be up on the lift waiting for my attention .

I'm going to just throw this out there. If you never click on OT you would never know anything but Corvair talk is out there.
I am sure this is a perfectly fine forum but I'm Lazy, it's the longest winter in history, and I'm bored! Somebody please post a video of a Corvair blasting down a tree covered lane!

I was seeing a server security error message from that site this morning, and now the server simply appears to be shut down. I'm thinking a hardware failure on the server has forced the network administrator to take the system offline, and that troubleshooting and repair is currently underway. No way to know how long it will be down. If a key component has failed with no redundancy available... :dontknow:
