'64 - 700

Post by Mountain Pilot »

Although about 130 miles away there is a '64 Sedan - Tan, automatic with A/C, looks to be a very clean body and interior.

But - no engine or tranny ( I have a few of these in my collection of parts )

Like it for it is a 700 and Factory A/C, Bench Seat...

Will get photos in the next few days and will post..

Asking 1K (OBO) but has been trying to sell it for about 3 months, I'm thinking of an offer of about $700

How about some feedback...!!!!!

It depends on condition and your desire to own it. A power plant can be big bucks to get up and running properly - you could use that to drive the price down.

A good friend of mine that was passing through the town stopped and looked at it.

Condenser and all rear bracketing, pulleys are missing. The front compartment has rust problems. interior is complete but seats need upholstery. Front right fender needs some minor fixing. Probably a $400 car but he would only go down to $800...

So he will sit on it for another bunch of months.. He has had it listed for at least 6 months so far...

I do have a very good powertrain for it but would do a full tear down and repair as needed, that will be for another '64...
