2026 International Convention - Gettysburg PA

Attached is the flyer for the 2026 Corvair International Convention being held in Gettysburg PA, June 22- 26.

Looks like 16 hours for me with a halfway point in Elkhart, Indiana.
It certainly gives me something to think about.
It would be best to leave about 5 AM in order to get past Chicago before the later portion of the afternoon. That stretch of I-80 where it's like 8 lanes in each direction can certainly be exciting. You'd have to really be trying to not just go freeway all the way from here.

Have they honed in on a place for 2027? They asked us in Minnesota and although we're active and vital on the local level we just don't have enough enthusiasm to pull it off.

For some reason, Oklahoma (not sure if Tulsa or Oklahoma City) rings a bell for '27?

I'll be there again. I was there after the 2018 convention, a lot to see in Gettysburg.

Hey -- if the 2026 convention is to be held in Tulsa, the entire convention, including the concours and autocross, could be held inside the Sagenet Center! It's a 446,400 square-foot clear-span building that is simply YUGE! The photo depicts only a portion of the space. Of course, I suspect that the rent is kinda yuge, too...
