ball joints
ball joints
I have a 1964 Corvair Monza Coupe. I am trying to find the proper Lower Ball Joints for this car. Allmost all listings I find refer to a "bolt-on" type ball joint. Clark's Corvairs shows a "press-in" type joint. Prices range from $12 to $150 for 1 lower joint. Very confusing. Would anyone know which joint I really need and possibly a valid part number? I don't trust eBay for this because their listings keep referring to a Corvette.

Re: ball joints
Lowers are press in for the 64 Monza. Clark's Corvair Parts ($54) And other Corvair specific vendors have the for sure correct parts. Others may or may not have the correct parts.
Corvair guy since 1982. I have personally restored at least 20 Vairs, many of them restored ground up.

Lower ball joints that bolt in are for the F.C. , not the car !
