Here is a conversation I had with an ebay seller . Thought I would share this as the search on ebay has gotten worse that terrible when looking for Corvair related . The conversation starts at bottom and goes to top

Lately I am overwhelmed with stuff that does not fit a Corvair , so that when I search for Corvair I get more hits on radiator caps , thermostats and 18 inch wheels and sets of rings for 8 cyl engines , shift knobs that do not have the pattern of the Corvair , and on it goes . I am considering buying some of these things and returning at sellers expense along with proper feedback . Ask Motorad where this part fits , Could it be mounted to the rear view mirror or maybe it is supposed to be attached to the radio , somehow
auto_parts_store_llc:
Motorad is the manufacture of the thermostat

I DONT KNOW MOTORAD . No Corvair EVER had any radiator . They all were air cooled , from the beginning to the end of their production
auto_parts_store_llc:
according to Motorad
that is the correct unit. They also make a 2000-180 and a 2000-195
the last three digits being temperature

1964 , no mods at all . There never was a radiator on any Corvair
auto_parts_store_llc:
