Iowa Vair

Hello again. Dads old car is off the be painted. In my first post I told about "ending" up with this 65 Corsa after my father became unable to drive.
Body work was done (the majority) last year. I've driven it some but put off going to any local shows, or unveiling it to my father. I waited a bit too long unfortunately. I'm sure he knew i was working on it but never got to hear it run on last time or see it painted.
So... some pictures of seeing it and the $ 10 wheels off.

Where are you getting it painted at? Looking forward to seeing it at local shows like the Gathering on the Grounds.

Its back.....Still needing some new fuzzies and weatherstripping. It did turn out a lot nicer than I imagined. It is the first entire car I have had painted. Two years ago John of JTVAIRS turned me onto Jim Rodamaker for the much needed floor and typical body work. I returned to him year later when the cookie jar got full. Excellent work. Pleasure to deal with. Very creative and passionate. Works on everything in addition to being very familiar with and driving corvair daily.

Wow, I love it, a real beauty.
The new wheels, are they the same as in the earlier shot (of the wheel and tire by itself) but painted gloss black? They look sharp! I ask because I have the same ones in silver (like the earlier shot) and I'd consider giving them a spray based how good your look.

Thanks. Yes the wheels are the same ones. Painted with black Imron. The painter said....I hope you like shiny because it looks like black chrome. The center caps are new from Original parts group, ordered for an EL Camino.

Wow, nice, thanks for posting the image of the wheel too. looks really sharp, something for me to consider.

This is what I have now (see pic), not the best pic. I definitely like them as is but nice to see I can go another route if I wanted to change them up.
