corvair wedding...

Post by vintagestan »

this may or may not be of interest, but my beautiful Corvair Roadtrip partner and I were married two weeks ago, and a good friend made a video of our wedding... In it, you can see our corvairs, including "Levi", who has been from Canada to Savannah, to Chicago, and back to DC, all in the last year, and "Levi Jr", our Tiki bar that I made from a front clip of a Greenbrier from Jeff at the Corvair Ranch. My new wife, Carrie, walked down the aisle (my neighbor's backyard) to "The Wedding Song", one of my favorites, by Paul Stookey, and she's a trooper for letting me make the Corvairs part of our special night. It was amazing and I hope you guys enjoy it! Make it full screen and turn up the volume.

Thanks for all the great messages! I will take some photos of the greenbrier bar soon- I really kinda did it overnight but plan to refine some of the things and tighten it up now that the old lady has agreed to put it in our room where we had our first dance. It will be a permanent part of our house, and although this Greenbrier (from the ranch.. thanks, Jeff!!!) would never be put on the road today, the front clip of him (Levi, Jr is his name) will live on serving lots of drinks for years to come. Not a bad way to live out his rusty years!
