Cool! LOL. Did you find your car here in town? I recently purchased a '64 coupe that had been sitting in a garage since the mid '80's. There are treasures hidden all over the place!

Yes, after researching and looking on internet for a few months this one showed up on craigslist. It was at an apartment building across from Bakersfield High School. The last owners drove it here from Maryland in 1999. Its got some rust issues but it runs and drives pretty good. After doing a bit of work on it of course.

Re: hide-a-key
I found a hide-a-key under the spare tire mount - had the car most of a year before I found it.
1st one - 65 Monza Vert with power top and 110 with a 4 spd. Was a bit dilapidated but fun, 2nd was a 1965 Corvair Monza Convertible. PG - 1960 or 61 or 63 80 hp engine - we think...

Worked on a Corvair one time and found the extra key lodged in the Left hand carburetor.
So I guess the inner air cleaner is not a great place for a extra key!
