Car is FINALLY out of the Bodyshop, and in Marty's hands for the final work... YAY !!!!
When they repainted it, they accidentally painted the interior Artesian too.. OOPS
They happily spent the time and corrected that .... Great shop !!!
My progress pics are in my locker at work... Here is a pic of what she'll basically look like... but with a PG and a restored Turquoise / White Wheel..... CANNOT WAIT !!

Car is still in progress, Marty has had some health issues, car sat at body shop for a year, but it's all back on track now... although 3 years later than planned... no worries, he's stubborn, and determined to finish it himself... He's an awesome friend.... All done with the bodywork/paint/suspension.. now working on getting the new motor in, then off to the interior/top shop.. then... DONE.... after I get her wheels.... =)

Marty is a friend of mine. He also has concours experience, so that's a huge plus. "Have Marty grind off the scrapes on that engine skid plate or replace it.
I have had to mark off points for that on concours Corvairs. Your colors are stunning.
I always loved a standard 65 Monza Convertible with Powerglide.
That's my idea of a keeper and driver. Love the Corsa's too. But the Monza is my choice.
Congrats on your project. You will be enjoying a real eye catcher. And like my Father always said.... If you are going to drive a used car, it should be cool!
I recently near completed a full restoration of my Fathers 62 Rampside. It is a tribute to him, as he passed last year. I have been to cruise nights with the Rampy and it is true. Anyone can get a high dollar muscle car, and be just like everyone with a high dollar muscle car! But pull up with something unique like our Corvairs, and there is a lot of attention and gratification in not being just another hot rod sheep!
Keep us posted.
