Paperwork for original owner of 63 Spyder Convertible
I purchased my Corvair Corvair Spyder Convertible in June of 63 from Haas Chevrolet in East St. Louis, IL. I will display the original order form, sales contract, paid note, original title, and a repro copy of the window sticker.

That was sooooo cool. Still have the car ? What did GM do to fix the heater problem? I've never seen a thank you letter from a finance company before.

That is really cool!!!! Did the car get the same attention from onlookers then as they do now?

It was said twice already but.....THAT'S COOL!! Hey, that spyder option was actually a bit pricey, huh? And then the 4-speed trans was almost another $100 more on top of that, and HD suspension a tad more. Interesting. And then front seatbelts, totally optional.....LMAO....

GM sent out a service bulletin to diagnose and repair the carbon monoxide problem. I think I posted it but can't find right now. Here's more-link belowWhat did GM do to fix the heater problem?

Very cool! The specs on your 63 are VERY close to the specs on my 64, except that mine only has a tinted windshield.
That gives me a pretty good idea what mine might have cost new, allowing for any price change between the 63s and the 64s.
The paperwork I got with my car included the original owner's manual, the top manual, and the warranty book, showing that my car was bought new in Pennsylvania, and registered to it's first owner on Dec. 12, 1963. Curiously enough, I got my Kentucky Historic Vehicle tags on Dec. 12, 2013, EXACTLY 50 years to the day later!
Sadly, I didn't get the Monroney sticker...
