Most of the caulking in my trunk has come loose and needs to be replaced. Is there a consensus of what should be used? This is a 65 Monza convertible that is a daily driver not a show car. Its all the stuff smeared along the seams in the trunk.
Thanks
Al

Many auto parts stores carry this product. It comes in rolls. Is very affordable. Autozone usually has it near the paint and body tools.

Re: LM trunk caulking suggestions
Auto body seam sealer in a caulk tube works well for permanent seams, even better is 2 part catalyzed material from 3M or SEM made for the same purpose (seam sealer) but these require a special application gun for their 2 part mixing tubes. These sealers come in different consistencies, Medium to heavy bodied and self leveling among them. For seams in the trunk you would want medium or heavy bodied. For drip rail caulking medium or maybe self leveling (if it is not too thin). 3M strip caulk works well for areas like headlight buckets that might need to be disassembled later.
