Took off the engine shroud to get to the blower bearing and I think I have figured out why my heater didn't work! Anyone ever heard of Tophat Beer?!?

That's your problem... you are blocking the vent with an obsolete beer brand!! You need to switch brands :rolling:

That's cool but it really will not effect the heater. It will not allow you to select fresh air to mix with the heated air however.
Corvair guy since 1982. I have personally restored at least 20 Vairs, many of them restored ground up.
Currently working full time repairing Corvairs and restoring old cars.
