Amazing work, how did you learn how to do that? I wish I had those skills, but I'm more in Pennsylvania-class repair category! ;)

Re: pensylvania bondo bucket
7 am , 8 degrees C., 40mph wind gusts and the threat of rain (in England? never....) means paintjob was hurried a little, but at least its done and I can get back to Vair work soon

Yep....no surprises here. Why would someone take a door off(or did he?), make (sort of) repair patches, half braze/half rivet , fill...then paint??? How much harder would it be to do it right?
Amazingly , there was no door droop

Re: pensylvania bondo bucket
I have to fix that same area - I'll be interested to see how it turns out on yours! Good luck!
1st one - 65 Monza Vert with power top and 110 with a 4 spd. Was a bit dilapidated but fun, 2nd was a 1965 Corvair Monza Convertible. PG - 1960 or 61 or 63 80 hp engine - we think...

stage 1
cut out as much rust as possible while leaving as much original metal as I can , so as not to lose hinge position. Inner strength panel added before curved outer panel, aiming to do it in about 6 sections
