New to the forum and the car! 61' 4dr 700.

Hi. My name is Xander. I'm in Travelers Rest SC. Greenville county. I'm new to the forum and the car. Picked up a 61' 4dr last Friday. It would run but just barely with no power at all. I replaced plugs and wires and slightly adjusted the distributor. Was running great until I got gas later that day (ran the tank pretty low by the time I arrived at the station) I added Lucas fuel treatment and filled with premium. By the time I arrived back home it was running rough and shortly after stopped running. Thinking maybe fouled plugs. I was able to get it started this morning and even put it in gear enough to park it on flat land. The warmer it got the worse it ran.
I got a timing light and as expected it's so far advanced you can't even see the marks. If I retard it enough to see the marks it dies. And that's where I'm at as it just started storming here in Greenville county SC!
Any help is greatly appreciated!
I'm no master mechanic but am reasonably confident in smaller jobs.
I'm excited to learn and hopefully make this my daily driver. Anyone in Greenville SC hit me up!

I think this was addressed in your other post. Most of us don't do "TOPICS", just do linear via "PORTAL" icon in top bar. So if you post in different topics with the same question it can get confusing.
