A locking latch for engine deck lid

Post by steve57 »

I wanted a lock for the engine deck lid that did not require a key. This is what I came up with.
Latch and modified striker tube salvaged from 1965 Cadillac.
144 inch cable, Dorman part # 915-706.
A few springs.
Rest of parts created from stuff on hand.
