Re: My little bumblebee
Yes this is my little bumblebee. She’s almost ready for a road trip. I should be ready for hot August nights in Reno, but it’s been canceled this year. I’m working on the carbs right now and trying to get the linkage back in order. It a 65 140 and I’m finding out what parts of the linkage are missing. Like the linkage between the primary and secondary carburetors.

If you are having trouble with your old 140 hp 4x1 linkage, you might want to read about Roger Parent's custom replacement components. Just click on the link below...

Looks like a fun project. Clark’s may have the missing linkage.

Re: My little bumblebee
Ok, I’m going to order a roger Patient carb linkage for the car.
Also I’m thinking of changing my carburetor crossover with four single air cleaner. Do you know where I can get them?
Today I’m going to put in my rear seat. I did the upholstery myself and I have to say they came out really good. I used stock upholstery from Clark’s. I also used the new foam buns from Clark’s. More pictures to come

Re: My little bumblebee
Changing to a one carb set up has some issues.
CFM ratings are critical.
164 cubic inches multiplied by maximum rpm then divided 12 cubed will give you an approximate CFM rating, then multiply by 80 percent.
Make sure the carburetor you chose has about the same CFM rating.
Good luck!
