I am replacing the accelerator diaphragms, will they stretch enough to go over the radius of the arm?
If not, how can I get them to be properly seated?

Yes. You can make a bullet shaped tool to help from a cut off ball point pen cap.

Great pics using pen cap.
I'm getting ready to do mine and several folks suggested the "blue" Viton accelerator pump cups that are suppose to last longer. Jeff at Calif. Corvair sells them separately.
