AZ folks...Info on my new 69 Convertible (#3094)?

Post by hoopermockler »

Hello,

I recently purchased a 1969 convertible (#3094) butternut with black interior that spent most of it's life in AZ. I am interested in learning more about the history of this car but unfortunately I bought it from someone who purchased it at an estate sale and he had basically no info on the car. The 69 registry was able to fill in some blanks on the very early life of my car but I sure would love to know more! There is a chance that one or more of the former owners were part of this group. The names I have come across are Jim Golper, ? Nordale, and Neil Clements. If anyone here has anything they can share with me I would appreciate it. I am in love with this little car and plan on being the guardian of this piece of automotive history for a very long time. Thanks in advance! BTW, my name is Mandi and I'm in Texas, this is my second Corvair. My Dad bought me 61 for my 16th B-Day back in the 1990's. I had to sell it to go to college, I have been dying to have another and I now I finally do!

Where in TX? No help with your history question but there is a good club in Irving. North Texas Corvair.

And thank-you hoopermockler, and your club, for sponsoring the 23rd H.O.T. (Heart Of Texas) reunion in Spring Branch his year. Most of the members in my club went (San Antonio's ACCA..Alamo City Corvair Assn..) Heard it was great! Alas, I've had medical problems so could not attend. Don't know which club, in Texas, is sponsoring next years or where it will be. Dang, may be Ours! Anyway, hope you find the info that your searching for! (Would like more info on my 67, but wouldn't know where to start) :tu:
