Re: Upcoming Road Trip
One last pic from my trip, I met a couple pretty cool people in St. Louis. Scott France and a bunch of the guys at Classic Car Studio were awesome. I also got to tour Hyman Ltd. Which is a high end classic car broker.

Re: Upcoming Road Trip
Made it home Thursday afternoon, completely uneventful trip both ways. This car is completely sorted, I’d drive it anywhere. What a great trip.

Re: Upcoming Road Trip
I made it, the trip was fantastic with no drama at all! I took the route around the south end of Indy, drove about 65-70 the entire way, it took me about 8 hours total.

Upcoming Road Trip
I am driving from Jackson, MI to St. Louis MO this Saturday, 4/12 and staying in St. Louis until next Thursday. I'll be taking I-69 to Indianapolis then jumping on I-70 west. If you see me out and about be sure to say hi! I'm also planning on hitting a cruise night Saturday in St. Louis at a sports ...

I swapped in a new u-joint and that fixed the issue. Thanks for the advice!

Re: Vibration from right rear
The old tire looked fine. I’ll check the u-joint. Tge bushings are all 3-4 years old and the shocks are qa1s that are all good. I am in agreement that it’s probably the u-joint, at least I’ll start with those. I’ll report back when I’m done.

Vibration from right rear
My car is an early. I have a vibration coming from my right rear suspension that is happening at around 65-80 mph. The vibration sort of comes and goes- and it is a slight vibration, not a crazy shake. It shakes, smoothes out for about 1-2 seconds, shakes, smoothes out and so on. I have: replaced ...

I used an old child size aluminum bat when I did mine. We had it left over from t-ball or something.

Re: Torque converter disconnect from engine
I just had a similar problem with mine. I think I ended up slipping a screwdriver into the area behind the nut and pushing it into the square hole that the bracket it supposed to hold it in. Once the nut was "captured" in the converter bracket, or maybe it was wedged enough so that it wouldn't spin ...

Re: Off season project
Holy cow, I am working through some stuff on my car, but you're making me feel lazy!! Nice work. After seeing those mounts I am thinking about changing mine. I'm also mad at myself for not changing the valve seals while I had my engine out this spring... I may tackle that this winter.

Re: Largest wheels for EMs
I have 205s on the front and 225s on the back. It looked like the 215s would fit on the front to me too, but I thought it would be too close so I was conservative. Its good to know they will work. Maybe when I replace them I'll jump to 215s and 235 or 245 on the rears.
