64 rubber weather strip question for trunk
Hi guys, im not really sure what to call it as in the UK we call it a boot but I think over the pond you call it a trunk, anyway I'm talking about the front trunk. I need a weather strip to seal it, I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what sort of shape this seal is as I can't justify ...

Re: Alternator wiring
Ha! That looks awesome I would have left the paint like that it was in a nasty primer when I got it. If you have any more pics of it I would love to see. Out of interest. Was it just the floor that was damaged? Or was the engine needing work then too? yep, I nearly bought it a few years ago here is ...

Re: Alternator wiring
rich your car certainly ran when I saw it, but never noticed the workings of the dash, it was impossible to sit in the car as the seats where in danger of falling through the floor! Hey! You have seen my car before? Small world. It has a brand new floor pan welded in it now you will be relieved to ...

Re: Alternator wiring
:woo: The small wires on the alternator plug are reversed. Forward terminal (#1) goes to the idiot light (usually a brown wire). Rearward terminal (#2) goes to battery +. (some people take a shortcut and connect #2 to the alternator output terminal, which works as a practical matter but isn't ideal ...

Re: Alternator wiring
Thanks for the reply! I'm aware the wiring harness is modified, I was hoping somebody here might know where the terminals on the alternator are supposed to be wired too. I'm guessing there isn't that many options when it comes to wiring an alternator to a car regardless of the model. I have the ...

I was thinking of installing one of those electric heaters on eBay that are advertised for campervans I thought about installing it behind the rear seat ...

Re: What the hell is this!?
Thanks for your reply i have been worried since i saw it that it was some bodgery done to mask bad repair damage, as the other side has always had more positive camber, but this would explain why if this side has been raised I guess.
Thanks
Rich

What the hell is this!?
I took got my Corvair on axle stands and popped the wheels off today and saw this in my spring. It's only on one side. I'm worried they have used it to correct the suspension in some way? Any ideas?
