UPDATE: I pulled the alternator and brought it to the alternator shop. I explained that I wanted the one wire internal regulator removed and replaced with internal regulator that allows the 3 wire connection. Can you explain the "option-relay for those who want to get creative and use it to power a fuel pump". Does this mean that if the engine dies, say in an accident, the electric fuel pump will stop?
