Thanks for all of the replys. It is true that the car has some rust. I think that I may cut the lower fender away and see if the damage is replaceable. Other than the fender the rest of the car seems to be solid. The pillers are solid, as well as the rockers. So I will dig into the fender and see is ...

Lucky for me I payed attention and learned metal work from my dad. So now I'm gonna try my best to teach my son. Maybe I can teach him to weld and shape metal, and lay the bondo on thick (haha). The motor is free and the fluids appear to be clean, so after giving the carbs a good bath I will try it ...
