A 66 vert 140 4 speed with little to no rust for under a grand, jump on it. Even if the motor needs rebuilt you can invest 3k in good rebuild and u havea sweet ride for 4 grandish and wont be upside down in it if you need to sell for some crazy reason. Thought id ask...don't know what I have . Its got a pretty big cam. No info from PO but it is at least a 270 minimum. I dropped the motor from a vair that was set up specifically for auto cross and put it in my ride. I have to stand on it at a stop light for it to go but when it does wow. I am havin...

Closely inspect underneath the car for rust and very closely under the length of the door. This area is reinforced for the convertible and prone to rust. We have seen some other corvairs here that looked good in pictures but was complete window dressing and possibly not even safe to drive. Be dilige...
