How do I add my YouTube channel to my profile?
I didn't see a topic that showed how to add links to your profile. I made a you tube account for my corvair and I want to add it to my account on this forum. I tried to put the link of the channel and the name and that didn't work it only showed me this

Re: We're can I find a whole brand new gas heater for a 60 model?
No one asked me but a heater would be way down on my list of things to do after getting the car running and driving well.
In the engine compartment there's a Tee coming out of the fuel pump that feeds the carburetors and the 4th side has a tube nut flare fitting that goes to the gas heater and ...

Re: We're can I find a whole brand new gas heater for a 60 model?
The Corvair Ranch web page indicates that they offer "Rebuilt" Gas Heaters for Early Model cars as well as F.C. vehicles. The rebuilt Car version shows a price of $1,390.00 plus a $300.00 core charge. Shipping from the East Coast to the West Coast could get expensive. I saw nothing useful on the ...

Re: We're can I find a whole brand new gas heater for a 60 model?
Regarding the ebay unit above...I don't see the exhaust outlet elbow pipe coming out of the unit. If it's not there (broken off) that unit is NOT viable.
Also, the ebay unit is very rusty, I would hold out for one that's not rusty (most are NOT rusty) and any gas heater you but MUST have a ...

We're can I find a whole brand new gas heater for a 60 model?
I recently looked at the gas heater and see i can't salvage it. I need to buy a whole new one. Parts are missing and I think the blower motor is seized because when I turn it it moves slow. I'm going to Assume the original owner took it apart because I have no screws or bolts to put it back together ...

Re: I need help making a diy fuel tank for my 1960 700 model
Screwing into the pump is 1/8 NPT not 1/4.
The inlet line is 5/16 flare and the carburetor lines are 1/4" flare. I want to say the extra fuel return and gas heater line is 3/16 flare but I'm only 95% sure.
For testing purposes lot of times I'll take an old 5/16 inlet line and cut it off, then ...

I need help making a diy fuel tank for my 1960 700 model
It has been a long time since I used this website so bare with me. I was looking at Google trying to figure out the line size and the thread size at the fuel pump. What Google said for the main line thread size is a 1/4-inch NPT while the fuel line is a 5/16 inch OD. Idk if that is correct or not ...

Re: I need help understanding the engine
I don't like the sound of someone putting a non-Corvair carburetor on one side. Is it possible it's a 60 carburetor and the other side is a later year? The '60 carburetor looks a little weird compared to '61 and later because there's no choke and the top is round for the hose to the air cleaner to ...
