Re: Engine installation
I’ve a transmission jack. Hopefully, that should make the job easier. There’s a lot of sheet metal screws in the tin. A side question: is it worth the effort to put heli coils in the exhaust manifold holes or just buy the bolts that Clark’s sells for the very purpose?

Engine installation
I’m in the process of removing the blown 110 out of our 66 monza. I plan on reinstalling a good running used motor. The sheet metal and many of the parts on the blown engine are going on the “ new motor”. Should I mount up all of the sheet metal, carbs, alternator and exhaust system after ...

PCV system
The last time I ran our 67 Monza, oil came out the dip stick tube. I try to keep the oil level below full- somewhere mid hashmarks on the stick. I wiped up the oil, added a bit more and tried to start the car. I couldn't get it to idle so I had to turn up the idle speed. I then drove the car for a ...

Re: electronic ignition upgrade
Do you just want to eliminate points or do you want a high energy Electronic Ignition?
If you just want to eliminate points I just put a FAST XR700 in my 66. Pretty easy install, using the original ignition wiring and I’m happy with the results. Note there is an external module that gets mounted ...

Electronic Ignition Upgrade
I am considering upgrading to an electronic ignition on our 66 Monza convertible.. Clarks has a couple of choices. I am wondering what the group has used when they upgraded. I've done similar upgrades on other wrecks I own and have had great results. These were easy because I could just simply ...

Re: temp/pressure light
UPDATE: Before embarking on a anything else, I decided to replace the sending unit. $7.04 later, the problem was solved. This is the second vehicle in the late six months that I didn't get two years out of sending unit.

temp/pressure light
In the last few days the temp/pressure light has come on. The oil level is fine, the fan belt is tight. The oil pressure switch is fairly new. If i increase the engine rpm the light will flicker Any thoughts? I really dislike idiot lights for obvious reasons,
