I just acquired a 62 Monza Convertible in what appears to be in excellent restored condition. The car came from MO by way of a dealer in Louisville. I am the second recorded owner. I am having a seat rail extender installed as well as a slightly smaller steering wheel since I am unable to get my 6'2" frame in under the wheel. I always thought Corvairs were neat cars but this is my first.

Welcome. I too have a '62 Convertible. Still working on it. Thought about seat rail extenders myself, but so far, I seem to fit (at 6'4''). Had a bunch in my younger years and I was just as tall then. I do seem to remember the late models having better leg room though. Dennis

Welcome and I hear you on the seat rails. I put in the extender from Clark’s and it makes a big difference for me. I can drive it with the stock position but I wouldn’t call it comfortable. With the seat extender I can do pretty much any length trip
