I'm new so I hope this is the right section to post this. Not a mechanical question so I hope so. Thanks for any help.
2 holes on inside rear cover above battery access door. They look factory and have nuts welded to the backside for a machine screw??

The battery access door retainer fits there. It holds the lid open to service the battery. Steve Spilatro of Corvanatics reproduced some last year. Pictures and contact info here on page 8
