Hello, New Member in SF Bay Area
Hello Everyone. My name is Terry, and I'm just about finished with my 1965 Corsa.
I've owned the car for nearly 4 years, working on each system to get it roadworthy.
Purchased the car from the Grand Daughter of the original owner. It was in rough shape, but completely in tact, and original.
Here are a few photos of the car

Hi Terry -- The car looks great. Where abouts in the Bay Area are you? Looks like you've got a lot more space to work with than most of us in these parts =)

Hey Randy... I'm in Berkeley. The photo in the shop is my mechanic's shop. He's going thru everything and getting it roadworthy. I like your cars too!

Welcome to the Corvair Forum! Although I currently live in North Carolina, I grew up in the 1960's only about 50 miles south of your location, in San Jose. You have a great looking Corsa coupe. I can't tell from the pictures you posted... is it a 180 hp turbo or a 140 hp Corsa? Could you post some additional pictures showing the interior, engine compartment, etc?
The link below can provide you with some useful Corvair-related websites.

I would like to encourage you to expand on your initial post and tell us more about yourself, your Corvair, and your goals for your Corvair. If you can describe your personal assessment of your mechanical skills and abilities, that would help a lot. Members of the Corvair Forum love to be helpful in assisting other Corvair owners with technical support and advice, but it helps a lot if we have some understanding of your technical background and mechanical abilities, Corvair-related knowledge, etc. Helping us to know more about you and your Corvair will help us to write comments to you that are tailored to your needs and experience. Pictures are great too, because pictures of your Corvair will help us to visualize where you are with your Corvair and its condition at the present time. Knowing your location is also useful, because knowing where you live can sometimes suggest possibilities to resolve some issues or problems.

Welcome! I'm a little North of you at Travis AFB. I've got a '65 Corsa too, but it's far from as nice as yours (for now).
