Boy, that guy was a bit brutal on the corvair. Some of the things he mentioned as "negatives" weren't exactly fair, like "no power steering offered". I guess Mopar was a bit scared of the 'vair....

Good old AD! Everyone in the automotive advertising biz was working hard to dis the Corvair. They must have been scared!
I am a fan of both, but the '61 Plymouth(ugly grille) wasn't as good looking as the Corvair. My wife and I had a great old '66 Valiant Wagon with a slant 6 that took us on many weekend road trips.
I know of at least one other old Mopar fan in the forum.
