I have a completely rebuilt 140 hp engine for sale (code: RT)
Features Clarks OT20 cam, forged +.030 pistons, and Roger Parent carb. linkage. Complete with flywheel, clutch assembly and all upper and lower sheet metal.
Specifications and photos are attached
SPECIFICATIONS FOR ENGINE NO.32
BUILT BY TOM KEO APRIL, 2024
BLOCK:
Low mileage ‘RT’ crankcase with standard 140 crankshaft. C/C was “Vapor Honed” which provides a “like new” finish both inside and out. Crank was ground .010 X .010” and clearance is .0015” on mains.
Rods were re-sized and balanced and are fitted with ARP hardware.
Camshaft is a OT20 from Clark’s as are the valve lifters.
Cylinders are bored +.030” and are fitted with Clark’s forged pistons and Moly rings.
CYLINDER HEADS:
Cylinder heads were heated to 450 deg. and valve seats checked for any signs of looseness. Bronz valve guide liners were installed on exhaust valves only, original factory intake guides were still within factory limits and are equipped with Teflon seals.
Exhaust ports were cleaned-up to improve flow and new valves were installed.
Combustion chambers were re-shaped to reduce compression ratio—final volume of each
chamber was measured at 46 cc +/- 0.5 cc. Final compression ratio with .042” gaskets is 9.2:1.
FUEL SYSTEM:
Standard 140 carbs were rebuilt and fitted with Roger Parent linkage, (1965 style). Because current mechanical fuel pumps have become unreliable and dangerous, the engine has been
modified to use an electrical pump.
Valve body on factory pump has been replaced with a solid Aluminum block, (from Clark’s), so
that original factory fuel lines are used in and out of the pump.
Electrical parts and instructions are also included to connect the new pump to the oil pressure
warning circuit to shut off pump if engine stops. Electric fuel pump is not included.
All fuel lines are new from Clarks.
IGNITION:
Engine is equipped with a Pertronix (type 1) ignition system and a new stock coil. Timing is set at 18 deg. BTDC.
MISC.
---Engine is equipped with a new Clarks heavy duty, oil pan.
---Alternator is new, single wire, 65 amp with Corvair pulley.
---Flywheel is NOS ‘DALE’ bolted flywheel.
---Pressure plate and disc are Heavy Duty, (rebuilt), from Clark’s.

Re: FOR SALE: REBUILT 140 ENGINE 'TURN-KEY'
I got an estimate from FedEx for a LTL shipment from Medford, Oregon (my location), to the East coast for about $500. This is a terminal-to-terminal type shipment to a location near the buyer. You will need a truck or trailer to pick up the enclosed pallet at the local terminal. This example may help you estimate shipping cost to another part of the country.
I am offering to split shipping cost 50/50, (lower 48 only).
BTW: This will be my last engine (#32).
