Considering a 69 Convertible, How much?
A little out of my league on this one but got the itch for a 69 convertible.
Yeah, there aren't many out there for sure.
What would be a good price range for one in excellent condition?
Hopefully pretty original and low miles. Hey might as well want it all right?
Thanks,
Mike

If you are talking about a cherry restored 90+ point car I would guess 18-25K somewhere. This is what I call excellent condition.
Corvair guy since 1982. I have personally restored at least 20 Vairs, many of them restored ground up.

I like the sound of $25 more than $18

I totally agree. very pristine examples (non Corsas) bring this sometimes. Corsas break the 25k barrier a little more often. I think these numbers are all too low. They are creeping upwards, but, as we know Corvairs have been unvalued for a very long time.

I finally noticed I didn't get back to this thread and thank everyone for their inputs.
I added this beauty to the stable January 2022.
Glad to have another 1969 for folks to see!

Thanks,

I have a really nice '65 Corsa convertible for sale. Asking 16k. Four speed, 140HP.

"For sale in Florida, clean Michigan title", and a California tag?????? Kind of reminds me of an old Beach Boys song. Dennis

But.....It's the last one. Still a fair buy!
Re: Considering a 69 Convertible, How much?
Hopefully it was well built. IIRC the last Corvairs were handbuilt off the assembly line.
