Hi gang,
I'm working on a 1965 Kelmark 5.3L LM4 project. The transaxle cost of a G50 has me scratching my head. Then I noticed, for about the same price as the G50, one could have a COMPLETE ROLLING C5 (!!!) Drivetrain, front and rear suspension, complete!
Question of the day, has anyone taken to dropping a LM Corvair on top - like the interchangable slot car bodies of old?
The value here is too good to not consider. Even if it meant shortening wheel base and track width to accommodate. What do you guys think? Someone has to have done it.

Somebody has to be the first one to do it. Might as well be you.

These guys have a rolling chassis made for a mid-engine C5 (with C5 suspension) in a '65-later Corvair: http://www.racefabinc.com/great_buys.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
