selling corvair question
selling corvair question
Hi,
I'm looking to sell my 67 monza coupe. It's not a restoration though it has had work done on it before me. It would need to be restored for any shows and the interior is worn with the seat covers splitting. What I'd like to know is how to figure out what is a fair price for it. It does have some rusted areas but it only needs three things to drive around. Tires, front anti sway bar bushings, maybe a new battery and I need to install the parking brake cable. Other then that it runs just fine. I got it from my dad and drove it from Pennsylvania to Maine without any trouble, I needed it while I worked on my truck. I was going to drive it around as a gas saver even after the truck was fixed. Unfortunately it just isn't for me as a daily driver and I have too many projects already.
It's an automatic and it is located in Windham Maine. It only has the two carbs but I don't remember what the horsepower rating is. I'll get some pictures once I remove my stuff and I can post it here or the classifieds later on tonight.

Re: selling corvair question
Hi Rich,
I am looking for a project car for me and my Dad. I have been looking for a Corvair for 3 months now.
Can you post some pictures? I live in Mass. And I may be interested.
Thanks

Took me longer to figure out how to get them off the phone then to take them dang it.
Here is the first one. Waiting for the rest to transfer from phone to laptop via bluetooth.

Re: selling corvair question
more
Some of the rusty stuff in the truck is actually from a couple of exhaust clamps that were laying in there and rusted. I'll try to clean it out more when I have a chance and more time.
