unsafe - thanks for the post. I haven't read it all, but it was interesting that the Falcon engine was rated higher than actual output by a considerable amount compared to most cars of the era. Also interesting how the "rules" punished the Corvair for good traction off the line by moving them to the "sports car" class. The Valiant slant six seems to be the real winner due to an understated factory HP figure.

I wondered as I haven't seen a post by UNSAFE for years. I should have checked the "itty-bitty" date font. Still fun to read.
