I'm new to Corvairs but not old cars, I've been reading up on them for the past few months. I'm a diesel mechanic by trade and work on VW's on the side. I've owned alot of cars from Mustangs to Studebakers to VW's, but I'm a Chevy guy at heart. I'm hoping to find a decent 1965-69 Corvair.

Hi and welcome, Joe.....good luck in your search for a nice 'vair. They aren't too hard to find and they're cheap too. I'm sure you'll have no problem keeping it in good running condition if you are already a mechanic by trade. And they're so much cooler than your average street machine you'll see at the hamburger stands.
