Anyone have pics of your electronic fuel pump install? Where mounted? Did you have to cut the original hard line? Tips tricks? How do you post pics on here?

Picture would only show my stock lookin gas tank. Go with the Ted Brown in-tank fuel pump. For a Spyder, you may need a pressure regulator as the Carter carbs run a lower pressure

cnicol posts here and he sells "kit" that a some have said goes in easy and works well. I have not used it, but many have without complaints.

I recall the 63 Spyder was the first year for a return fuel line (off the engine compartment fuel filter) back to the gas tank. The stock pump provided adequate flow. I am not sure about the electric pump cnicol uses. You can PM him with questions.

The Corvair turbo guru Steve Goodman at Rear Engine Specialists in Colorado has recommended a "quality" fuel pressure regulator to deliver 2-3 PSI to the Carter turbo carburetor. Our club learned that was excellent advice and solved issues on turbo cars in our club.
