I fell in love with this Corvair camper. Never have seen one like it before. The camper is in good condition for its age. Needs tires all so they are old and weathered.Engine runs well new carbs, gas tank and I have parts to finish the brakes from Clarks. There is electrical issues a smell of hot wiring in the cab and the camper needs to be rewired. There is surface rust on the body no holes. Selling due to health issues. I have not driven it at all.

Pretty cool but he got at least one digit off on the price - in the wrong direction unfortunately.
Interesting air scoops.

I've been to Mi Wuk Village on one of our prospecting trips...right in the middle of Gold Country.

Two years ago I inspected this Rampside when it was for sale in the Los Angeles area. I spoke with the purchaser, and at that time I seem to recall he was in the Simi Valley area, or there about.

The truck and the camper was a mess. Assorted rusty areas, cut up rear wheel wheels, broken windshield, questionable wiring, no ramp, etc. The engine was partly apart. The asking price for the truck was reasonable for its condition and was a good priced project for the 'right' person.

The pictures show it has been cleaned up (a lot of work there) and the engine was put back together. The truck's overall condition is still is far away from the asking price, IMHO.

I always thought the camper in a Rampside with the tall door was pretty cool.
It would be well challenged plowing through a head wind all day. Not as slippery as an Ultra Van.

I also recall seeing a listing on Offerup about two years ago. The listing described the location as being within earshot of Olive View Medical Hospital in Sylmar, CA. It seems to me that seller was asking something around $3,000.
The cut up condition appeared to be as "Vairone" describes it.

At least it doesn't have the back of the cab cut out like the one I bought for 3.00 back in the '70s (no engine, and camper was demoed.)
