I found an announcement on the other forum that Steve Goodman is celebrating 57 years in the Corvair business. There isn't a nicer gentleman that this fellow. Send him a thank you message.

Years ago Steve Goodman (Rear Engine Specialists in Colorado) helped our club get a Spyder turbo car running for a raffle contest. Steve's advice was on the money and he refused to take a penny for his help.

One of the few people in the old car hobby where I have NEVER heard a complaint about his work.

I saw that notice posted by Timothy Shortle and thought about mentioning it here but procrastinated.

I don't believe I have ever met Steve but have communicated with him and purchased items I was unable to source in other places. Steve treated me right and that was appreciated especially in this day when Customer Service seems rare.

Happy Belated Anniversary Steve. :tu:

I email Steve often. Asking questions and learning with each email. I went to Denver and took Steve to lunch a few weeks back. What a wonderful guy and very helpful person. Steve enjoys helping people. And for someone past the age of 80 and running a shop without a lift is amazing.

I will send him a link but...
