differential cover vent used

Using the Clark's Finned Aluminum Differential Cover, what vent/breather are you using?

If you change the position slightly you can use the plastic push in ones that you can get aftermarket. Or you can put a shield like GM did and put it in the same area.

The vent hat is threaded into the lid with 1/4" or 3/8" pipe threads.

Raise the hat up with a 6" piece of pipe...can't remember which size.

We started doing this in the sixties on our dune buggies...no overflow.

On the racecar I used -4 braided stainless hose to a remote mini K&N.

6" would poke a hole in the body on a car wouldn't it?

There is about a foot of clearance there.
