A while back someone was looking for a N.O.S. Battery for an early model or an F.C. but I don't recall who it was.
One showed up on e-bay today with a Buy It Now price of $600.00 and also has a Make Offer option.
It is listed as "NOS 1960 1963 Corvair All OEM Delco 557 DC 10 Battery Never Opened or Filled."

That’s nice! Especially since they don’t make the repros of the 556/557 any more and the battery compartment dimensions are so unique.
Would love to have it for my ‘63, but at that $$$, needs to be saved for some senior concours show car. Original class. Maybe just as a dry battery installed once the car is displayed.
